In simple terms: You list your subscriptions, we check if you\'re okay periodically, and if you don\'t respond after multiple attempts, we help your designated family member manage those subscriptions. We never access your accounts or store passwords.

1. What We Do

SubsVault provides a service to help families manage digital subscriptions after a user becomes unable to do so. We:

  • Store your list of subscriptions and associated email addresses
  • Send periodic check-in emails to verify you\'re well
  • Provide beneficiary access after multiple missed check-ins
  • Offer guides on canceling or transferring subscriptions

2. What We Don\'t Do

  • Access your subscription accounts
  • Store or manage passwords
  • Cancel subscriptions on your behalf
  • Make decisions about which subscriptions to keep or cancel

3. Your Responsibilities

  • Keep your subscription list up to date
  • Respond to check-in emails when you\'re able
  • Ensure beneficiary contact information is current
  • Inform beneficiaries about this service

4. Check-in System

By using our service, you agree to receive periodic check-in emails. Frequency is based on age:

  • Under 65: Every 90 days
  • 65-75: Every 60 days
  • Over 75: Every 30 days

After 3 consecutive missed check-ins, beneficiaries receive read-only access to your subscription list.

5. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these terms
  • Are used for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to misuse the service

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties. We don\'t guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted service availability
  • Successful cancellation of subscriptions
  • Recovery of accounts or data

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Continued subscription charges
  • Lost data or accounts
  • Actions taken by beneficiaries
  • Failure to receive or respond to check-ins

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be notified via email 30 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
